2015 Audi TT teased in design sketches
The Audi TT is about to move in to its third iteration as it continues its progress from hairdresser’s car to mini R8, with a reveal of the 2015 Audi TT at the Geneva Motor Show next month. Ahead of that reveal opf the new TT, Audi has released two design sketches (above) to tease the changes it’s wrought to the TT and whet appetites for the proper reveal. The official design sketches show a TT that moves in the direction of the R8 in design,m with new grill, new headlights, sharper lines and the four rings badge moved up on to the bonnet.
Kia Motors America announced its first special edition for the second generation 2014 Soul, dubbed “Red Zone.” This quirky, boxy compact car will get a head-to-toe makeover, taking inspiration and design cues from the 2012 Chicago Auto Show favorite, the Track'ster concept. The exterior of the Soul gets bright white paint, accented by pops of red. The grille, front and rear fascias and side skirts also will receive the distinguished red embellishments, adding to what Kia describes as “the aggressively styled body kit.” Custom 18-inch alloy wheels complete the “Red Zone” makeover.
To reveal a new car’s interior before we’ve even seen a concept sketch of the whole vehicle sketch seems odd. But nevertheless, that’s exactly what Audi has done with its 2014 TT, unveiling the car’s cabin at the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) in Las Vegas. The German firm’s choice of venue is significant, too, underlining how the new TT will “come with a new generation of electronics and connectivity features.”
